Still likely the best way to subscribe is by creating a blogspot account and following me on there, it's dead simple and you don't need to create a blog to do it. (But you can if you want)
OK, this is an option which isn't too complicated.
What you will get is a live email stating there is a new entry to the blog.
In that email will likely be some pointless ads. Apart from those ads, I cannot see an issue with the service, This is what the email looked like when it came in
One line confirmed the site subsciption, then an ad for dental care followed by the blog entry link and then another ad for Volvo below.
There is nothing signed up to and it's easy to unsubscribe
