An interesting look

AI is really quite good at offering up a look for someone they might not have thought of before. So, this is clearly me whilst not being me!

Anyway, I have been spending the last week or so converting two bedrooms so that they may be good enough to attract lodgers. The reality is, I have no income without lodgers, no freedom to be me, my money, even that intended for supporting my health, just pays the bills, not a lot more.

Here is the listing for the rooms in case you are interested. I have pushed the ad early as I am not quite ready but, I need to spark interest and it's the only way is to get it out there.

Annoyingly, the last lodger failed again to pay his rent on time so he isn't the lodger any longer. 

My plan has not just been to clean his old room but rather to make a total household change. So, his old room gets a new bed, curtains and lampshade. The room across the hall which was a chill out lounge and grandkids bedroom, that has become the new lodger room. Downstairs the dining room has gone and been replaced with the sofa bed from upstairs and greater display. The kitchen table, which was lovely but too small, has been replaced with a bigger extendable one. Ideal to sit at and prepare food or accomodate 6. It can also be moved into the old dining room to be used in there. The room across the hall downstairs is just a mess right now as I am awaiting a large cabinet to be collected to turn that into yet another sleeping lounge. The actual main lounge has adopted the furniture from the dining room which amazingly seems to work.





So, very nearly all finished. Everything I planned will be complete by next Thursday so, I do have an end date for it thankfully.

Deej has been a great help and made everything so much better as there were times when I had to go off and do other things and he was able to keep going at home. I couldn't have done it without him.

As is always the case when I take on a large project, my health is now buggered so I have a lot of recovery time to fit in which I must find time for.

 Dynasties Aquino Marcos Duterte Yes, there are others but, they're all the same. They are dynasties not there to make the country better but, rather, themselves more popular and richer. Did you know that if someone is one of the big families like this, they're 22% more likely to get in positions of power (I read) Until the corruption stops at the bottom, it'll just carry on at the top. Honestly, the talent, love and dedication of the people deserve better than this few families keeping your country down. Not a single one is clear of corruption, each promised and didn't deliver (unless it suited them). Just look at how they have their name, literally in some cases, on so much. King CHarles, the late Queen Elizabeth, Prince George who will become King after his father, Prince William We have a monarchy here, the closest we have to what the Philippines has. Another glorious day over here. Sun shining, we are being lazy. is 10:45, should prolly do something. Have thought about alligator hunting. Deej has not seen any yet, can’t be having that! May just do Hollywood Studios though not many of the rides thanks to illness 🙁 Gonna drink a root beer now, sit by the pool … may just do that all day … good job we don’t have a fever seeing as we have all the other symptoms of swine flu. Dare not mention it though because we get quarentined for the rest of the holiday and cannot fly home until they are sure we are clear … sod that! We feel lethargic, we have sore throats and coughs. I’d say that barely qualifies as man flu let alone swine flu! Got a new lappy … hence my bursting onto the net. It cost me 170 pounds but is on sale in the UK for 330 so quite a saving!
